From their earlier days in the mid 80’s, to the Festival Con Dios tour in the summer 0f 2001 Audio Adrenaline has been a favored rock band. Audio Adrenaline carries on with their sixth studio album “Lift”. One notable change for the band is in the lineup. Bob Herdman, a founding member, has taken a hiatus from the band to head up Flicker Records. At the same time, he still helps with song writing and studio work.

“Lift” has all the energy of “Underdog” with fresh new tracks like “Beautiful,” “Rejoice,” and the rock anthem “Ocean Floor.” A favorite track of mine is “You Still Amaze Me,” because of the feeling it gives me. By my interpretation, the song says that no matter what Audio Adrenaline (the band) has done, whether it be hit records, sold out concerts, or starting a new company, there is still an awe of God’s power in their lives. Coming in a close second is “I’m Alive,” because that’s the feeling this peppy techno-infused guitar rock song gives me.

Audio Adrenaline gets another A for their continued excellence.
