H. King Oehmig, founder and editor-in-chief of Synthesis Publications, introduces “Soul Openings.” A set of sacred writings narrated to timeless arrangements.

There are several applications for this CD that come to mind; devotion, reflection, and inspiration. The piano melodies, played by Brian McLeod, help to relax and open your mind. The intent of the project is to offer quiet moments to worship and reflect on the glory of God in every day life. Aimed, but not limited to, the elderly, shut-ins, and travelers, “Soul Openings” is a portable meditative multimedia experience.

An example of the inspiration and comfort found on “Soul Openings” is found in “Guidance.” The narration's of “Guidance” include John 16:20,22,24 and Matthew 6:25-26,33. Reminding me at a very crucial time that God will turn sorrow into joy. “Guidance” also touches on prayer for our nation, its leaders, and most importantly, finding God in our daily lives.
