Worship God
Rebecca St. James
Forefront Records

With a beautiful voice and a heart for God, Rebecca St. James turns back to her worship roots. At age 13, Rebecca released her first independent worship album "Refresh My Heart" in her homeland of Australian. Since then she has built an accredited ministry through her music. She brings to stage a longing to worship God and edifying others to another level.

Rebecca's melange of rock/pop, signature voice, and profound ability to communicate on stage have all contributed to her success. "Worship God" takes shape from this personal history. Rebecca has chosen a handful of classics like "Let My Words Be Few," "God Of Wonders," "Better Is One Day," and "It Is Well." "It Is Well" was written in 1873 and with the help of producer Matt Bronleewe, Rebecca has put her own twist on it. The production was best described by Rebecca as a "Rebecca Twist," taking original arrangements, and deliberately going in a different direction musically.

A handful of new songs are also included on "Worship God," such as the electrifying "Lamb Of God," a techno twist on the book of Revelations. The chorus of "Quiet You With My Love" burst with the joy over the sheltering hand of the Lord. Finally, is "You", a more subtle devotion with a calming string arrangement. The bonus track is a remix of "Omega," a benediction of God's love and grace that He extends through Jesus Christ.

"Worship God" is a high point for Rebecca and modern worship. The original "Rebecca Twist" breaths fresh life into classics and at the same time has created new worship songs that will be remembered.
