The talented couple Nathan and Christy Nockels, known as Watermark, have once again touched our hearts with their third and most recent release "Constant". Watermark’s Sophomore release "All Things New" was an expression of hope and healing, "Constant" reveals the extremely gifted writing of this creative couple. The music is important, and the heartfelt lyrics are quite significant. The combination of the full sound of these beautiful melodies and honest lyrics draw the listener in. Nathan and Christy wanted this project to come straight from their hearts. They wanted the words to come out of their lives; to reveal who they are. The couple became vulnerable and wrote honestly. The songs are genuine and wholehearted.

The title track "Constant" is about God’s continual love, faithfulness and forgiveness. In a world that is always changing, God’s love remains the same and never changes. This theme of God’s constancy is the main focus throughout the record. God longs for a relationship with us, and the song, "Seek Me" is a reminder that we need to be seeking him constantly.

There are songs about friendship and family on the album. "Noah’s Song" is a song written for the couple’s 18 month old son. Having a child has taught them the valuable gifts of faith, hope, and the precious love of God. We are reminded to humble ourselves before God and to become like little children. At the end of this song, the sweet voice of little Noah can be heard.

"Friend for Life" is a tuneful song sweetened with a catchy "la, la, la" melody. It is about a continuous friend who leaves a mark on our lives. Watermark says this song expresses the meaning of their name; When there is a flood there is often a watermark left behind, and Jesus is the living water who leaves a mark on our lives.

Typically, Christy is the main vocalist and Nathan provides the back up vocals. However, Nathan sings with Christy on the beautiful duet "Made for You". This peaceful ballad is about communicating in marriage, a nd encouragement to hear what the heart is saying.

Watermark’s desire is to reach out to the audience by writing songs that truly up-lift and encourage each person. They hope their music will help teach others to communicate with God, and to learn about Him. The combination of Christy’s crystal clear voice, Nathan’s warm harmonies, and the wholehearted lyrics makes this project a real treasure. The music will make your heart dance, and bring warmth and serenity.
