Bob Smiley has been in stand-up comedy most of his life, starting in high school and continuing as a source of income during college. After college, Smiley was moving through life earning a living when he was approached to tag along on tour with Clay Crosse. In the past five years Smiley has toured with bands like Third Day, Audio Adrenaline, and the Newsboys, bringing the cross to comedy.

On his debut CD, Smiley jokes about his childhood and leads into a stirring testimony about the "father" God. His transitions are smooth and perfectly timed. The only down side to listening to stand-up comedy audio is that you miss the gestures of a live show. I found however,that this CD provides a much needed break in life while at the same time it teaches valuable lessons.
