The Fault Is History

SoulJahz siblings Joshu'a, Je'kob, and Rachael Washington have created quite a buzz in the Christian music bubble, maybe enough to burst that bubble. Promised to be a cross over success destined to witness through their music.

"The Fault Is History" covers as many topics as it does musical genre's. For the most part its hip hop at heart, but not just pure hip hop. "Let Go" is more funk and "Jubilee" is disco. The topics of writing include racial discrimination, child abuse, poverty, and abstinence.

In line with their desire to be "different" and cross boundaries, SoulJahz has already made their mark on MTV's "It's Your Show". Two of their songs were also used by Microsoft on the "Project Gotham Racing" CD, a part of the Xbox game console.

I like the funk of "Let's Go" and the truth of "Same Ol' Game". Best of all are the two Shakespearean speeches by VeJae on racism and Poverty.
