For the Love
Christin Cook
Wierd Hair Music

To say that Christin is driven is an under statement; finishing High School at age 16, studying music for two years at a community college, making the Dean's list, then, at age 18, hitting the road with her band.

Now at age 20 she's releasing her sophomore project "For the Love", a follow up to her debut "Live Loud::Scream Worship". "For the Love" is less worship than her debut and more of a cross between pop and modern rock.

The range of song writing on "For the Love" puts Christin in the same class as Jewel, Morisette, and Sheryl Crow. At such a young age Christin writes with wisdom and pin point accuracy promoting purity to her piers.

Over all, "For the Love" is breezy, free flowing, and fun. From the guitar driven "I Need Your Love," to the jazzy "Sweet Nothings," and the humorous (but true) "Silly Things."

I love it when something this good comes across my desk - easy work! "For the Love" has earned a spot in my cd carousel next to my other female rockers like Miss Angie, Tracy Dawn, and Paige.
