"The Right Amount" features the breezy vocals of Julie Martin, wife of Jason Martin (Starflyer 59) who wrote all songs on this CD. Together they set out to record something a little different than the usual Starflyer material, a little lighter and more pop.

What they created was something a bit surreal and is ultimately infectious. Julie's soft lilting voice is hypnotizing, producing a sound that is slightly moody. She occasionally reminds me of former Forefront recording artist Miss Angie. I love to sit in the dark and just let the CD repeat itself over and over while contemplating all that is good in life. Praise God for those moments.

There are no liner notes or lyrics, and I couldn't dig up much about Bon Voyage on the web so I'm hoping that this isn't just some sort of pet project that will not produce any more fruit, but instead the beginning of the Martin’s next trek in life.
