All About Love "All About Love" is the 13th release for the renowned artist, Steven Curtis Chapman. One of the greatest gifts God gave us is love. On this album, Chapman takes us on a journey that explores the many wonderful facets of love from Christian perspectives. Album strengths: rich acoustics, streaming harmonies, intricate and meaningful lyrics. First rate songs: "All About Love," "You've Got Me," "Holding A Mystery," and "Echoes of Eden." The jazzy-blues ballad, „I‚ll Take Care of You" is an exciting new sound from Chapman. "I'm Gonna Be" is a cheesy re-hash version of 500 Miles by the English band, The Proclaimers. Delete this track and this album is ready to move hearts! This album offers a welcomed diversion from the praise and worship explosion that has recently occurred in Christian music. Simple gifts come from the heart. Just as this album was a heart-gift to Chapman's wife (Marty Beth), so too could this be a good one (gift) for your loved ones near n' dear to thy heart. Celebrate the gift God has given to us: Love. As Steven Curtis Chapman shared on this album: "We love God best when we love each other well." -Happy Valentine's Day...Bridget L. |
