This is the debut album for Spoken, a band out of Arkansas on the Tooth and Nail Record label. I listened to this album several times, and the more I listened to it the more I started to really like it. The lead vocalist, Matt Baird, has a voice that is very distinctive. Lyrically the songs are very positive, talking about getting strength through God. Questioning whether God is listening, but then seeing heaven open up wide and seeing the Glory of God shining through the clouds of doubt.

The second track, Promise, has a very catchy chorus that I think could become a very popular song for them. Overall it is a very well done album, with good vocals, guitar and, drum work and lyrics.

As I was finishing up with this review I went onto their website, www.spokenmusic.com, and found out that the track "Promise" has already made it to number 1 on the TVULIVE ten most wanted! So go and check them out!
