FM Static is a side project for Thousand Foot Krutch members Treavor McHevan and Steve Augustine. Their FM Static sound is more pop rock than the hard rock typical of TFK.

Their first FM Static release is about growing up and a lot about relationship woes. There are however some more challenging songs like "Crazy Mary," which is about showing love towards all of God's people. "Crazy Mary" is specifically about a homeless woman who is passed by hundreds of people every day, people who judge her without knowing her.

"What Are You Waiting For?" Is a very catchy album with radio friendly pop rock. FM Static will be a great creative outlet for Treavor and Steve aside from the hard rock of TFK.
