Dente is a woman of God who has received many honors, such as being nominated as 1995 Female Vocalist of the Year. She has made great strides musically, but she also strives to simply shine for God and serve others through her music. As a home-schooling mom of three children, and a wife of sixteen years to her producer, Scott , Dente is an amazing role-model and extremely talented.

Favorites include: Summer because it is a touching reminder to not take even summer days for granted. Dente talks about biting her tongue when she could be scolding her son for not eating his picnic lunch, but remember that he is a gift from God, and he will soon grow up. This will surely bring tears to many listeners' eyes. Also, Becoming, the title track is a great one especially for women. The piano and the light string accompaniment are great on this one. In a time when women are expected to be happy and feel beautiful only if they fit the world's image, Dente speaks of finding beauty in how God sees us. What an awesome reminder to us all!
