Collide Pan-heads delight! The ever changing style of Skillet have rebounded to more of a hard-rock attitude, leaving behind the industrial sound of it's past two releases. John Cooper, the core of Skillet, has conducted several revolutions with the bands style, never one to let the dust settle. Collide still has one quality that is similar to all previous Skillet releases, the crank-ability factor. There is nothing like driving down the street with "Alien Youth," "Best Kept Secret," and now "Forsaken" and "Savior" can be added to the list. No matter what the style has been Skillet has historically produced a good product. The new sound as well as the exposure on the upcoming "See Spot Rock" tour may just find Skillet colliding with the mainstream. - Ken W. |
