CeCe Winans, six time Grammy Award winner, has such an eclectic style which is captivating to all ages everywhere. This recording is especially interesting as it encompasses CeCe's favorite kind of music--worship music.

From simple piano accompaniment to strings and even CeCe's home church choir, Winans' new record is surely a collection of various styles and musical timbres, which will once again engulf its listener.

There is no doubt that CeCe believes and artistically expresses each lyric as her music touches the hearts of the audience. This is particularly close to CeCe's heart as she either wrote or co-wrote almost every song on the album.

Favorites include: "Hallelujah to the King" because Winans incorporates an interesting tool into the simple song. She uses an almost spoken voice to encourage the listener to join her in worship. It is a powerful worship experience which can be found in a simple musical one. "Mercy Said No" is also a great tune, written in remembrance of her brother as he was on his death bed. Winans has great power in her voice. Her core really shines and tears may fall naturally just thinking of God's complete love for us at all times!!! Finally, "A Heart like Yours," with its lyrics alone added to the beautiful melody is a wonderful inspiration. Even with all that CeCe has accomplished and as true to her faith as she is, she still sees the work that needs to be done in her life. It is such a great song for us to remember what our goal is! To be like Christ is all we need to strive for. Wow!
