Falling Up

Falling Up
Crashings
BEC Recordings

Modern rock and worship combined with hard hitting rock best describes "Crashings", the debut from Falling Up. These guys were introduced to Brandon Abel through the band Kutless. Produced by Aaron Sprinkle, "Crashings" is a solid offering. There is a lot to be said for the writing that doesn't leave you guessing, as there is a big focus on the gospel message on "Crashings."

As far as musical styles go, Falling Up is a quite different style than that of their friends in Kutless. Falling Up uses a combination of rock, hip-hop, and a sprinkle of hard rock. Some of the fast-tracks include the first single "Broken Heart," "Places," and the whimsicle "Jackson 5."

Falling Up will be joining The Sea of Faces tour with Kutless, Thousand Foot Krutch, and FM Static. From what I heard on "Crashings" they will fit quite nicely into this line up.
