Jeremy Camp
Carried Me - The Worship Project
BEC Recordings

With the 35th Annual Dove Awards just around the corner, I've gotten accustomed to reading about Jeremy Camp. Camp has been nominated for both Male Vocalist of the Year and New Artist of the Year. His second project "Carried Me - The Worship Project" mixes Camp's rock roots with his heart for worship. This CD is a great testament to Camp's faith which has carried him through some tough times.

Like most worship projects, "Carried Me" is a collection of reworked classics and newly written material. There is a tripped-out rock version of "You're Worthy of my Praise", which is consistent with the tone of most of the album. "Revive Me," a Camp original is a tender prayer of supplication.

Also out this April is a DVD titled "In24" which will take the viewer on a view of what 24-hours on the road is like for Camp. "In24" also includes live footage of Camp performing songs from both "Stay" and "Carried Me - The Worship Project." Additionally there is behind the scenes footage of sound checks, meet and greets, and two music videos, "Understand" and "Walk By Faith."

The flood of worship music has been non-stop for several years now, but "Carried Me - The Worship Project" comes from the heart; a heart that's been broken, and healed, healed by grace. The closing track "Carried Me" plainly reveals the heart of a broken man who has found life in Christ.
