7th Avenue The 2004 version of 7th Avenue is a reissue of KJ's debut with the addition of five previously unavailable tracks and a few guest appearances. Additions include "Lift Me Up," "All Around the World" featuring John Reuben, and "Twelve-Round Knockout" from the movie "The Champion." Reasoning for the reissue was the fact that KJ52's popularity has risen since his debut in 2000, and because the availability of his debut was limited. So with the reissue, his new fans can have a chance to pick up his earlier work. I don't doubt that hip-hop has become more widely accepted, but whether or not that constitutes a total reissue is up to the fans. Of course this version of 7th Avenue isn't a carbon copy of the original which is a plus for new fans and possibly fans who already own the original "7th Avenue." - Ken W. |
