Addison Road is a relatively new band with just over two years of existence. Their beginnings can be traced back to a relationship between members Jenny and Ryan Simmons (married on August 10, 2002). "Breaking Beautifully" is the groups second independent release and it was produced by Barry Blair, a former and founding member of Audio Adrenaline. All the members of Addison Road recently graduated from college and have relocated to Dallas, TX. In Dallas they lead a new worship service at First Baptist Church, in Richardson, TX. Outside of that their focus is on youth and college students.

The Addison Road style is a mix of rock and pop, and the distinctive vocals of Jenny Simmons stand out right away. This, their second release also shows a great strength in the bands writings. All of the twelve tracks were written by the band. "Breaking Beautifully" is a strong, out of the gate effort which should get them some national attention. The market is tough though, and over flowing with major label acts. If they keep their focus on the ministry and not the bright lights and fancy busses, then their ministry will continue to be blessed, and the youth they come in contact with will be equally blessed.
