Who Are We?

Mick Rowe

Mick Rowe
Summertime
Digital Worship Records

Mick Rowe is an industry veteran, dating back to his days with the Christian metal band Tempest in the 80's. Since the 80's, Rowe has experimented with everything from metal to goth.

Rowe's current release "Summertime" finds him back in more 80's style pop-rock, but not completely. There are traces of more progressive rock like the opening track "Please Save Me." The ranges of styles make this CD both contemporary and progressive all in one fine package. To top it off, Rowe includes an 80's remake of "Don't Forget About Me" from the movie The Breakfast Club.

Overall, "Summertime" is an easy going rock album that hits everything from relationships to salvation. At times it's light and breezy and at other times it's a bit more rock -n- roll. This album would probably appeal more to the middle aged child of the 80's.
