The Youth For Christ (YFC) choir consists of 350 diverse kids ages 10 - 18 years old. This is the second time this type of choir has been put together under the YFC banner. The first was back in 1998 when the debut "Higher" was nominated for a Grammy for Best Gospel Choir or Chorus Album.
This time around director/producer Troy Sneed wishes to emphasize the diversity of the group. Like the title, the choir also comes in a "colorful combination of races, denominations, and family backgrounds".
Song selection includes traditional hymns, contemporary praise, and hip-hop. "Love Comes In All Colors" was recorded live at the Bethel Baptist Institutional Church in Jacksonville, FL.
A project of this magnitude is not easy to put together, but when it does come together it makes for an unforgettable experience. If you're into Choir ensembles like Sandtown, with directorship similar to Richard Smallwood then the latest YFC is worth a listen.
