California group After the Chase is comprised of Nathan and Jenna Strong, and friend Jack Pryor. Their self titled debut is heavily acoustic and similar to Waterdeep. If you’re not familiar with Waterdeep then think of Watermark meets Caedmon’s Call. The bands music is very rhythmic, melodic and rich with ambiance. Their influences run from Rich Mullins to Fernando Ortega. The musicianship is lively with the use of guitar, violin, mandolin, hammered dulcimer, and many other instruments.

Nathan and Jenna harmonize so well together they sound like seasoned professionals. It’s this faultless harmonizing that makes songs like “Fight or Flight” and “Songs of Sacrifice (SOS)” play over and over in my head.

After the Chase is currently leading worship services at various churches in northern California. They also are performing in other events and live shows around California. As an independent worship band, After the Chase is poised to be a national sensation.
