Week 70
Self-Titled
7krecords

This self-titled debut was released in 2003 by Week70 founder Don Larson. "Week70" is very easy listening, classic Contemporary Christian music with a gospel purpose. The style is mainly acoustic with a pop-worship sound.

Although two years old I don't believe this debut is out of style. I think it's the light productions and the simple yet powerful lyrics that make the record timeless. One can never get enough inspiration and the faith/hope that emanates from each song on this debut is inspiring. There’s also a classic rock track called "New Taboo" that sounds 70ish with its mellow harmonies, but it's so today with its message. "It's a new Taboo - Being a Christian".

Other record highlights include the piano ballad "Simple Things" which includes background vocals by Larson's children, and the inclusion of "Come Thou Fount".

There is a little biography information on the Week70 website along with music samples, but no dated (more current) information or tour/show information.
