Florida natives Forever Changed are on the rise with their Floodgate debut “The Need to Feel Alive.” With classic rock roots, Forever Changed delivers pop hooks and catchy melodies. The real focal point however, has to be on the thoughtful, analytical, and challenging lyrics.

The liner notes and lyrics have enlightened me to a myriad of thoughts and emotions. “Identical” describes the absence of unity (love) within the body of the church, “Great Divide” is a tragically-poetic tale of divorce and the struggles that children of divorce face, and “Opportunity” is an open challenge to commit to the great commission.

As a new band with such a great message, this short introductory review really can’t do them justice. Find out for yourselves what a powerful impact these songs can have.
