The band Kainos is made up of the husband and wife duo Hannah and Ben Stacy. Let me point out the obvious right away - this is no Watermark. Kainos has been accurately described as loud and aggressive with an urgent message. [The name Kainos is derived from the Greek language meaning new recently made, new to the possessor, renovated, better, of higher excellence.]

Hannah, once a Continental Singer, belts out the vocals with style and very little restraint. She has a range from hard rock, “Selfish Me” to the emotional “You and I”. Additionally, the musical influences of classic rock to grunge totally rock the soundtrack with immeasurable magnitude.

From the first track “Selfish Me”, to the very end of the twelve-track experience, I have been impressed with this young couple’s fire. Their self described fire is about Christianity, and the thirst to know Jesus Christ, ultimately becoming a new creation in God’s eyes. Their music is crafted is such a way that it has a great potential to spill over the boundaries of discontent, and change hearts.
