Lisbeth Scott
Passionate Voice
Shelter Records/Sarathan Records

Lisbeth Scott has many well known references including writing/vocal work on “The Passion of the Christ” soundtrack, “Shrek”, “Shrek2”, and a long list of other TV/Movie/Commercial contributions.

It was her work on the Passion soundtrack that inspired “Passionate Voice.” This new CD is about the teachings of Christ and focuses on subject matter like love, compassion, kindness, joy, and faith.

Lisbeth Scott’s vocals are both passionate and ethereal on this Enya/Michelle Tumes-like recording. There is a good range of styles on the CD from “Reveal”, which sounds similar to what you might hear on movie soundtrack, to the Sarah Brightman like “Grace”, and the pop tune “No One But You.”

With the amount of mainstream material that Lisbeth has accomplished it’s refreshing to see her acknowledge her gifts from God, the great giver of all gifts.

*“My work as a vocalist and co-lyricist on “The Passion of the Christ” transformed my life. I felt Christ’s love move through me continuously as I was singing and writing, guiding me on my path. It became crystal clear that my voice was given to me to be a vehicle for the healing, comfort, light, love, compassion and deep peace that is God. I joyfully embrace this journey and am honored to present my music to any and all who will listen.”
