Mark Harris You may recognize Mark Harris as one of the members of 4Him. In his PR material, Harris discusses the meaning behind the title of his first solo record. “You look at a tombstone with the dates,” he says, “but the line between the two is the life that’s lived. (The) real story is what you did on that line, living in that line . . . I want to make mine count.” The songs on this record follow through on that theme. This is an adult contemporary pop record. Fans of Shaun Grove should like this disc. You may have already heard the excellent opening track “For the First Time” on the radio. “Carry the Light” is a strong faith statement. “Ordinary Life” and “Find Myself in You” revolve around similar themes of losing it all and letting go in order to be free from sorrow and being new. “Find Your Wings” is a great song for a child, “Faith gives you the courage to do great things.” - Rob S. |
