Sides of the North The Incurable Romantic is somewhere between the boundaries of hard-rock and alternative rock. The tempo is as described in their bio – passive aggressive, and the musical styling is all over the map. For instance, the CD starts with a piano intro, leading into the melodic “The Incurable” that contains some screaming bgv’s; then follows with “Love and Lines” which is more of a rhythmic, guitar driven, alt-rock song. The pulsating-rhythmic guitars and vocals make The Incurable Romantic CD a good choice for those seeking something just a little different in the rock arena. Check out Sides of the North on MySpace.com for a more detailed bio and a couple of song samples. - Ken W. |
