Inhabited Inhabited came about through a collaboration between siblings Marcus and Sara Acker back in 1999. The two started out leading worship for their youth group, which lead to writing their own songs and performing in various venues. Sara passionately leads the band on vocals through a number of rock anthems that have significant spiritual meaning. She is backed up by a solid band, Marcus (Guitar), Jerrett Horn (Drums), James Colvin (Bass), and Justin Tinnel (Guitar). Their debut, The Revolution, was produced by Monroe Jones and he has done an amazing job of bringing out the best of the band on each song. On occasion I heard some similarities between Sara and Adrienne Liesching (Benjamin Gate). Some of the highlights include “Open My Eyes”, “Rescue Me”, and “One More Night”. The messages through these songs are about prayer, guidance, and salvation. This is what I love most about The Revolution, the music is great and the message is strong. Aside from that, I have a bias towards female-fronted rock bands. The ladies just seem to be able to put more emotion into the vocals. - Ken W. |
