The Rocket Summer The Rocket Summer is Bryce Avery as Bryce wrote and recorded all parts of the CD. Hello, Good Friend is piano driven rock – think Keith Green on steroids. There is more energy on this recording than in a nuclear reactor. The themes on this album bounce from hope to doubt, some inspired by faith and others by life in general. All together making Hello, Good Friend a cross market production. My favorites include “Never Knew,” and “Brat Pack,” which epitomize the differences of themes and highlights the multi-talents of Avery. If your interests lie in emotive-upbeat-piano-rock then I would encourage you to check out The Rocket Summer. - Ken W. |
