The Loudest Sound in my Heart - Live
Independent

The Violet Burning has long been a resilient voice on the independent rock scene. Although it appears that mainstream notoriety has evaded them (that is only if you look on the surface or the covers of CCM Magazine). This band is an underground phenomenon, and their latest CD/DVD is all about giving the fans what they want – to capture the Violet Burning live and forever relive the experiences in our homes, cars, and offices.

Audio for The Loudest Sound in my Heart was recorded live at one show and the video is a collection of a variety of live shows. From their web site; “This is the independent way.
Record yourselves, film yourselves. The only way we know how to do it. We worked hundreds of hours over the past two years between tours, putting it together to make it look as good as it is. All with a budget of zero dollars.” The DVD also has a lot of entertaining extras including the transcharger, things not to write on a church sign, and a handful of guest appearances by other artists.

This project highlights the best of The Violet Burning with songs like “Berlin Kitty,” “Rocknroll Start,” “Forty Weight,” and “Oceana.” If you’re not familiar with The Violet Burning, their style is straight out rock comparable to U2, The Cure, Delirious, and The Rock and Roll Worship Circus. The band is currently planning on a new studio release on Northern Records this year, but in the mean time don’t hesitate to grab on to The Loudest Sound in my Heart.
