Duncan a successful veteran vocalist is known for his blend of R&B and gospel. After a healthy label career, he set forth to start over with his own independent label called Red Road Records. Bryan, along with his NehoSoul band, has crafted a new sound for Christian music. A sound that mixes elements of gospel, blues, a little bit of jazz, and a whole lot of soul.

As a product of this highly diverse sound, A NehoSoul Christmas album is a blast of fresh air, with funky new arrangements on top of traditional Christmas classics. Time-honored songs like “O Holy Night,” “Silent Night,” and “Christmas Time Is Here,” all take on new life. Duncan also does a respectable job of covering Louie Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World.” This is a one of a kind CD, which is exceedingly refreshing.
