The overall musical approach on this record strikes me as one you’re either going to love or live without, but not both.

“Sing a Song of Gladness” is almost opera in its approach while “Bethlehem Morning” has a full orchestra.

“Jingle Bells Ala Sandra” takes the seasonal song and gives it a Judy Garland twist. “Jesus, Oh, What a Wonderful Child” has a revival feeling to it and is the most interesting song on the record.

“Someday” reminds us that Jesus’ birth brought hope for the future. “O Holy Night” is very traditional while “Worthy/Hallelujah” is more modern but retains its traditional flavor.

Note that there is a lot of music on this disk.
