If I were writing for a secular publication, I’d give this release a luke-warm review at best.

Sonically this record is but a Bryan Adams clone. Lyrics such as “only time will tell the end” are horribly clichéd.

Front man Scott Grimes plays a doctor on the TV show “er.” The PR material for this record notes that “while this is not being marketed to the Christian market, Grimes is a Christian, and his beliefs play an obvious role in his life, his music and his roles.”

Sorry, but I didn’t hear that influence on this record. Take a pass on it.
