Glass Darkly is a UK based rock band that is looking to get your attention, and if you’re listening at all, they’ll have it. From the very first track, “Jesus, Jesus,” I was totally overwhelmed by their upbeat guitar driven sound, a sound that can only be described as pure joy. The joyfulness is further accentuated by the vertical nature of the lyrics. Thrown together, you have joyful praise, and why shouldn’t we want to shout gleefully to our heavenly father!
Over the thirteen track CD, the band progresses through gutsy rock, both modern and classic, a little pop, and a strong amount of worship. More than anything, it is just “real” rock and roll. This eclectic sound pushes Lost Person Area beyond average and is sure to please any rock enthusiast. American similarities would be a mix of Pivitplex, Audio Adrenaline, and Dakota Motor Company.
