Jonas Brothers Three teenaged brothers comprise this pop outfit. They are not, however, a guy version of BarlowGirl. Given the rate of teen-suicide in this country, “Dear God” tackles the very relevant issue of “what’s the use of living.” Beyond that one song, there isn’t much else on this record to recommend. Several tracks have a girl fixation; “6 Minutes,” “You Just Don’t Know It,” and “7:05.” “Underdog” is teen angst. “Mandy” and “Time for Me to Fly” are not covers of those 70s songs. There is far worse music that your tweeners and teens could be listening to; however, there’s also better. - Rob S. |
