Ana Laura, the latest addition to the Reunion line up, is a young Texas native with a real killer voice. It has been noted (CCM Magazine) that the pop genre is not getting enough attention this year, however, I think that Ana Laura’s debut is going to make it hard to push pop too far back. Ana is a real breath of fresh air for the pop enthusiast and considering that Jaci and Rachael Lampa are putting out greatest hits this season, this new CD is very welcomed.

The primary thing that makes this CD work is the song selection. There are a lot of people who have helped to contribute to this album, including Cindy Morgan, Jason Ingram, Philip Larue, and Matthew West (to name a few). The themes run straight along theological lines, and there is a heavy burden on helping those who feel down and broken.

There are a few music samples and a decent blog on her myspace account. If you are not privileged to have Christian radio in your area, I would suggest that you check this out. If you do have Christian radio, then no doubt you have already been hooked.
