Not too many singer/songwriters can take a near five-year hiatus and still be remembered well enough to have an impact on the market. However, in the case of Cindy Morgan, I am sure that I am not alone in saying that I would wait as long as it took for her to be ready to record again.

With that said lets talk about her new album, “Postcards.” Cindy herself wrote most of this album, but she did collaborate with a few other writers, including Wayne Kirkpatrick, who also acted as Producer on this project. The songs are reflective of Morgan’s life, and right from her heart. Nearing Mother’s Day, I was particularly drawn to the song “Mother.” Through this song and all others, Morgan has a way of sharing her innermost feelings while drawing you into the song.

For the wait was well worth it.
