After three successful independent releases, Martha Munizzi releases a much anticipated two-disk set of live, original worship music.  Munizzi has already been nominated for Grammy and Dove Awards and received the Stellar Award for “New Artist of the year” in 2005.

If you like Darlene Zschech, you should like this set.  From the pounding open of “No Limits” to the contemplative “Renew Me” and “Forever You’re My King,” the songs follow a comfortable modern worship musical style.  However, there’s a pinch of musical variety as the all-too brief reprise of “You’ve Been So Good” is funky while “Jesus is the Best Thing” would sound in place on a Salvador record.  “Chosen Generation” reflects the best of big gospel choirs.

Her appreciation for Gospel music developed early in her ministry when she was the music director for a multi-ethnic church in Orlando, Florida.  “It was a natural fit for that to be a significant part of the music we did,” Martha says.

For a live record, this set has a near studio sound quality to it.
