Fernando is a favored inspirational artist and his work has been widely recognized for it’s distinguishable characteristics of a insightful singer/songwriter and worshiper.  His latest release, “The Shadow of Your Wings,” is a slight departure from the first part of that equation and a respectful offering of the second part as the album focuses on the traditional hymns and sacred songs as the title suggests. The sound of the album resonates with warm melodies and reflective quietness and brings to life the classics with some new arrangements. 

Fernando keeps the arrangements clean and soft with piano, acoustic guitar, and light percussion.  “The Shadow of Your Wings” is an inspirational CD that has brought back my personal love for the classic hymn.  There is a feel on this CD that I fear we have lost in the new blended church worship band.
