            Moya’s “An Irish Christmas” is such a magnificent project; the Celtic arrangements really enhance the traditional Christmas classics.  Moya’s voice alone is enough to set you at peace on this journey of reflection and worship.  A few of the best offerings on the album include “Do You Hear What I Hear,” “Gabriel’s Message,” and What Child Is This?”. 

            Moya ads a further touch of home (for her) with translations of “In Dulci Jubilo,” (Good Christian Men Rejoice), and “Oiche AChuin” (Silent Night), and again on “Do You Hear.” 

            “An Irish Christmas” is a lush and lofty album that has the most originality of any compilation this season.
