            Some may recognize Kim Dexter as the lead singer for the 1990’s group Mayfair Laundry.  She’s also written the theme song for the Bibleman video series.  According to her PR material, personal struggles have opened Kim’s eyes to how much people are hurting and what it takes to trust God during such times.

            Kim says, “Most people suffer in ways you’d never know.  This record is focuses on finding healing for the hurting and delivering the strong message of surrendering your life (to God).”

            Dexter writes her songs and lists the scripture that influences most of them.  Fans of Tammy Trent-AC pop may like this record.  I found “Kiss the Sun” to be an interesting listen while the song “Wait” has guest vocals from Bryan Duncan.  “Fill Me Up” is another good song but overall this is fairly typical for its genre.
