“Roundabout” is one of two projects recently released by Phil Keaggy, a well renowned and respected guitarist in any realm (or industry if you so wish to use a label).  This particular recording is a compilation of pre-show warm ups that were recorded with no real intent of being an album.  The recording is also experimentation in looping and layering.  What distinguishes it from your typical Apple Garage Band looping is that it was all done live and spontaneously. 

For guitar fans, and Keaggy fans in particular, “Roundabout” is a cool offering that is fun to listen to.  Keaggy’s skill is truly amazing and inspiring.  However, one word of caution, the low rents that do not understand the craft may be critical of the project and label it as muzak (elevator music)… please pray for my uncultured friends that they too may enjoy this fantastic CD.
