            This is the tenth Passion project.  It’s a compilation of songs from Passion events going back to 1998.  The purpose of Passion is to gather college students from across the nation for the purpose of seeking to foster unity and connectivity, encouraging students to draw strength from each other, resulting in a louder anthem of God’s renown.

            All of the songs here have been released in some form.  It’s possible you may already have many of them, including “Holy is the Lord,” by Chris Tomlin, “You’re Worthy of My Praise,” by Charlie Hall and “You Are My King.”  If you don’t, this is an excellent set of music.

            All of the songs were recorded live.  This can be a drawback, as for example the guitars on Matt Redman’s “You Never Let go” almost drown out the vocals.  The David Crowder Band tracks are excellent, as is Chris Tomlin’s “How Great is Our God,” which segues into “How Great Thou Art.”
