T-Mac is back.  A few phrases that would describe “Portable Sounds” include, improved beats, extraordinary rhymes, and drop-dead delivery.  And that’s just truDog’s contribution! 

Honestly, I’ve found that in the past there have been just one or two songs that really stand out for Toby Mac, but I have never been sold on a whole album as much as I am with “Portable Sounds.”  The new CD is solid from beginning to end and the feature artists that show up on almost half of the album further enhances the excellence of the whole project.  The first single, “Made To Love” has been at the top of the charts for at least 20 weeks.  All together I think this is the best project since the DC Talk trio started flying solo.
