            Christafari pioneered “Christian” reggae and the latest album’s highest quality is how it features a new class of reggae artists following in the bands path.  Features include Avion Blackman, Imisi, Mr Lynx, Ace Winn, Doen Duncan, Sherwin Gardner, Sheldon Blackman, and Letita Ugwueke.  This is quite the collaboration and the artistry of the 15-track CD clearly stands out because of it.

            The liner notes indicate a change in sound with a touch of ska and rock.  The changes compliment well the likable reggae tempo typical of Christifari.  The group has a long and distinctive career dating back to their originations in 1989.  “To The Foundation” is a credit to their history and the mixing of biblical themes and the breezy styling of vocalist Mark Mohr make for an exhilarating experience.
