            This record has big guitars.  I like big guitars

            This record has big drums.  I like big drums.

            This record has soaring vocals.  I like soaring vocals.

            However, when these elements are brought together here, the debut of the Georgia-based High Flight Society sounds like “just another rock band.”  There’s nothing real special.

The band hopes to cross over and have its music played along side the “many songs out there portraying so many negative things,” says singer Jason Wilkes.  While admirable, that also explains the largely generic lyrics.
