It’s hard not to focus on the fact that half of the Connersvine duo is a professional football player. The two halves of Connersvine are Hunter Smith and Chris Wilson.  The duo originally paired up to lead worship for an Indianapolis church.  About the same time Smith was taking part of the Superbowl, things for the duo were progressing in the CCM industry as well.  Connersvine signed to INO Records and their debut album was given birth.

The debut is a blend of praise and worship with a full-band soundtrack while their MySpace page classifies the band as acoustic-rock.  Either way, the songs are decent and the sound works well. These two know how to write a good song and the album is real solid. 

If  you like praise and worship, somewhere between the Sunday service and just shy of Modern Worship, then Connersvine is a good choice.  And if you like the Indianapolis Colts, this is a definite must-have!
