This is a stand-out release. The band is based in the Pittsburgh area. They don’t stick to one musical style as I hear doses of Simon and Garfunkel, a pinch of Boston and Pete Townsend.
According to the band’s PR material, there’s an emphasis on the theme that we, as God’s people, need to be agents in impacting and changing our society in the name, and love, of Jesus. They want to edify the church and reach those who are seeking.
The scratching on “May Your Glory Move” grabs your attention. They do a great cover of U-2’s “I Will Follow.” I also liked “Air” and “By Faith By You” has some nice background vocals.
They must have an interesting live show as two of the three members, Aaron Greer and C. Scott Gilbert, have backgrounds in graphics, web and sound design.
Clocking in at under 40 minutes, I wish the record had some more music.
