Worship leader Chris Clayton says, “My prayer is that people will be reminded that we serve and worship a holy God who is more than we can fathom. Sometimes I feel that we often ‘tip the hat’ to God and go about our week without ever encountering Him and recognizing Him for the Holy One that He is.”
This new record has several original songs and a few covers, including “Song of Hope” and “Happy Day.” It’s guitar-lead modern worship and a pleasant listen.
Chris’s vocals shine on the up-tempo numbers. The songs tend to follow a similar structure with the instruments coming on stronger during the choruses.
