The 17th Hillsong Live release is what we’ve come to expect. The worship team at Hillsong is committed to perpetually offering new songs for the church.

Joel Houston, Hillsong’s Creative Director says, “It’s a bout a generation expressing their worship, expressing their heart for worship in the action of love toward God, toward the world we live in and the people who inhabit it. It’s about the light that diminishes the darkness.”

Among the standout songs to these ears were “Run,” and “Desert Song.” “Sing to the Lord” could become a big church anthem. Lots of slow tempo songs on this release. Once again the recording suffers from a less-than-stellar audio mix.
